He earned his two bachelor’s degrees in philology and economics from the Novosibirsk State University, but has fully dedicated his life to arts. In 1998 with the popularization of the Internet Marat has learned about the hip-hop culture and developed passion for graffiti. As a result he has developed spray painting skills and took a great interest in experimenting with letter shapes.
In his recent works Marat pays great attention to patterns, as well as mixing painting techniques and materials on different surfaces. His versatile art comprises both figurative topics and abstract compositions. Oftentimes in Marat’s works abstract forms are mixed with realism, expressionism and typography elements. In 2011 he established the First Graffiti Agency (FGA) together with Andrey Aber. Within this agency Marat does commercial work both all over Russia and abroad.
